As you can see, the results for the most reliable car were extremely close. So, we’d bet you’d be onto a winner with any of those top five reliable cars.
Let’s take a closer look at the top five:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][fancy_box image_url=”1892″ color=”Accent-Color”]
5. Lexus RX
Lexus had some great results in the Driver Power survey. Three models reached the top 10 list for reliability. Plus, the Lexus RX came in as the third best car overall in the survey. Owners liked the quiet driving experience and said it was economical to run.
Owners did report some faults with the Lexus RX (16% of owners to be precise). But the faults were not electrical or mechanical, they were to do with the exterior and interior trim. For this reason, you can still count on the RX in terms of reliability.[/fancy_box][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][fancy_box image_url=”1894″ color=”Accent-Color”]
4. SEAT Leon
The SEAT Leon came in seventh overall in the survey. So owners think the Lexus RX is better on the whole, while the SEAT Leon is more reliable. But the SEAT Leon has been popular among owners for some time. It was the winner of best car in the 2013 Driver Power survey.
Only 8.6% of owners reported faults with the SEAT Leon, which is low indeed. However, the type of faults were mainly electrical.[/fancy_box][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][fancy_box image_url=”1896″ color=”Accent-Color”]
2=. Audi Q3
Audi didn’t do so well overall in the survey. The best Audi only came in 13th in the rankings for best car. But owners think the Audi Q3 compact SUV is reliable, with it coming in joint second with the Skoda Yeti.
14% of owners reported faults on the car. But they were happy with the quality of the materials, as well as the level of fit and finish. That’s what makes the Audi Q3 reliable.[/fancy_box][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][fancy_box image_url=”1898″ color=”Accent-Color”]
2=. Skoda Yeti
The Skoda Yeti got exactly the same score as the Audi Q3 so comes in joint second in terms of reliability. This car is soon to be replaced by a new model, the Skoda Karoq, which will hopefully be as reliable as its predecessor.
Proving how reliable this car is, only 9% of owners of the Skoda Yeti reported faults, most of which were to do with the interior trim. Generally speaking, owners like that it’s fun and durable.[/fancy_box][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][fancy_box image_url=”1901″ color=”Accent-Color”]
1. Toyota RAV4
Here we have our winner of the UK’s most reliable car in the Toyota RAV4. Other cars might be more exciting but it’s unbeatable where reliability is concerned. Owners like that the RAV4 is sturdy and uncomplicated, and the fact that it is designed to meet the needs of a family.
It also had the least reported faults – just 6%, which were to do with the exterior trim and engines. But overall the Toyota RAV4 is a winner.[/fancy_box][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]There you have it. Although car buyers are making more and more complaints about their new cars and reporting faults, there are still some models that have proven to be extremely reliable.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
